Warranty Terms & Conditions
Lagee Aquatic – Warranty Terms & Conditions
The following information outlines the warranty terms offered by Lagee Aquatic.
Please read the following carefully. By purchasing a product from Lagee Aquatic, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions of this Warranty.
Warranty Coverage
All new vessels manufactured by Lagee Aquatic are covered by:
- 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty from the original date of purchase
- 3-Year Structural Warranty on the vessel’s core chassis and hull structure
Please retain your sales invoice as proof of purchase, which must be presented when lodging a warranty claim.
This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser from the date of collection and is non-transferable. If the vessel is sold, transferred, or otherwise disposed of to a third party, this warranty becomes null and void. Additionally, the warranty is void if the vessel is used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to rental, hire, charter, or any form of income-generating activity.
No claims can be made by or on behalf of the new owner.
Trailer Warranty
All trailers supplied with Lagee Aquatic vessels are covered under a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the trailer frame and welds under normal recreational marine use. It does not cover:
- Rust or corrosion due to saltwater exposure where proper maintenance (e.g. rinsing and protective coating) has not been followed
- Wear and tear items including tyres, bearings, brake pads, lights, wiring, jockey wheels, or winches
- Damage due to incorrect towing, overloading, or failure to adhere to local road laws and trailer capacity limits
To maintain warranty coverage, owners must:
- Follow all trailer care and maintenance guidelines provided by Lagee Aquatic
- Routinely inspect and service wheel bearings, brakes, and lighting connections
- Wash the trailer with fresh water after saltwater use and apply anti-rust protection
Trailer warranty claims are also return-to-base unless otherwise agreed in writing. Transportation, towing, or recovery of the trailer is at the expense of the purchaser.
Improper loading, failure to secure the boat to the trailer, or damage caused during launching/retrieval will void the trailer warranty.
What is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover parts considered consumables, including but not limited to:
- Tyres
- Wheel bearings
- Navigation lights
- Canvas coverings
- Weather-related wear
- Zippers
- Cosmetic corrosion (e.g. surface rust)
These items may be available for purchase directly from Lagee Aquatic (postage may apply).
Warranty only covers factory faults. It does not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse or abuse
- Accidental impact or collision
- Modifications or alterations to design
- Incorrect or irregular maintenance
- Improper assembly or set-up
- Use outside intended marine purposes
- Battery discharge
To ensure eligibility for warranty, the purchaser must follow all care, maintenance, and operating instructions as outlined in Lagee Aquatic documentation.
Sales Conditions and Exclusions

Appliances or components not manufactured by Lagee Aquatic (e.g. marine fridges, electronics, outboards) are covered solely by the original manufacturer’s warranty, in accordance with their terms and duration.
Warranty Repairs and Claims
All vessels requiring warranty inspection or repair must be returned to Lagee Aquatic’s designated service facility. The warranty does not include freight, towing, recovery, or accommodation costs unless expressly agreed to in writing by Lagee Aquatic.
Any work carried out under an approved warranty claim must:
- Be performed by an authorised Lagee Aquatic representative, and
- Be done only with written permission from Lagee Aquatic
Lagee Aquatic retains the right to determine whether parts should be repaired or replaced, at its sole discretion. Dealers, agents, resellers, or service outlets are not authorised to accept or deny warranty claims on behalf of Lagee Aquatic.
Canvas and Soft Covers
Canvas components (e.g. biminis, covers, awnings) are covered by a 12-month return-to-base warranty. This does not include:
- General wear and tear
- Overstretching or incorrect installation
- Leaks resulting from failure to properly season or weather the canvas
- Damage from unauthorised chemicals or sprays
Your Consumer Rights
This warranty is in addition to the guarantees and rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You may have additional entitlements that cannot be excluded by Lagee Aquatic. This warranty does not limit those rights.
Warranty Inspection & Approval
All claims are subject to inspection by a Lagee Aquatic technician or approved assessor. If the fault is found to be deliberate, resulting from misuse, or not valid under the warranty conditions, the claim will be declined.
Return Policy
Please ensure you select the correct model for your intended use. Returns are not accepted for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selection
- Minor variations in colour, model, or specification
The buyer is responsible for:
- Return freight
